The king of online auction sites, of course, is eBay. I can’t say enough good things about this online community. If you only use one auction site, it should be eBay. They have everything, and anyone can join in and use it. You can get music, jewelry, electronics, clothing – anything that you can think of, so long as it is legal. With all of this freedom, however, come a few risks. Although the software is well written to minimize risks whenever possible, eBay is not altogether safe. The main problem is that there is no way of knowing that people will not burn you. You are buying from private individuals, and it is not possible to know all of their motives. Nonetheless, there are things to do on this and other related auction sites that will minimize the risks.  EBay lets you check the reputation that a seller has. If you only buy from reputable sellers, you are not likely to get cheated.
